Skycrane out of action
Elvis the Victorian skycrane is reported as being out of action "in a paddock", with an hydraulic problem.
Presumably they couldn't make a precautionary landing at an airfield?

"Elvis" (HT-735) experienced a high transmission temperature approximately 10 miles north of Tamworth Airport. On first discovery of this the crew decided to put down in an adjacent paddock. Subsequent inspection found that the transmission needed replacing.
I think it was a good idea for them not to fly the 10 miles back to Tamworth Airport.
