My god if true that really is terrible.
Gutted as worked a few times with him and one of the nicest guys you would ever, ever want to work with.
Something went terribly wrong if that is the case as as consummate professional there is.

I am not usually a poster on these types of threads but I am deeply upset and saddened by this. I was priveledged to be taught by him and count him and the family as a friend. He was an outstanding pilot and individual and the world is a poorer place without him.

I knew Pete of old from my helicopter days with Aeromega and only recently re-connected with him through Linkedin.
He was a sort of the earth and generally good egg and one of the most experienced commercial helicopter pilots in the business right now.
Condolences to his family and he will be sadly missed as a professional and a friend who liked a good chinwag.
