Vacation Pay

Hey HVMht,

What about those of us that did receive Vacation Pay but with a claw back? I have always gotten my VP but CHC has always clawed back at least 50% because they say I didn't work enough hours.

Cheers

Devil Short holiday pay, short on wages.

Just an update CHC has shorted my last paycheck also, they seem to forget that they entered into blended pay, so how in their mind can they decide to pay me only base salary (a thing of the past) for my last time off!!

Always enjoyable dealing with Mobsters!

Well I've never had any problems with pay - always on time and accurate. Maybe it's retribution for your public musings

Not true, there still is base salary. That is what you are paid if you are on the "un-assigned" list, meaning not currently assigned to a specific base. Not saying this applies to you, but it still is there.

Nothing to lose

I worked for CHI then CHC Global from 2000-2008 and in that time was paid vacation pay once. I have just contacted Labour Canada. I figure I have nothing to lose. I'll post what happens. I am not a Canadian Resident or citizen. I hope all past and present employees apply for what we were always entitled to. Best of luck to you all.
