Rotorheads Desktop Calendar January 2013

Ladies & Gents,

Here is my effort for a January 2013 Desktop calendar.

Click me for the landscape version

Click me for the standard version

As always, for Windows users click on the link to open a higher resolution full picture, and then right click to select “Set as Background”. Mac users should select the background via System Preferences.

This is dedicated to the "bears" though we never actually did call them that, to us they were the customer who mostly were quite unique and always up for a laugh and if you asked nicely would bring you Espressochoc with extra sugar.

This picture was taken by said unique customers on my camera during take off from a satellite.

Happy new Year!!! And safe flight!

RIGHT I have redone the Landscape link hopefully it should work now but I will have another look at it tonight when I am home.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you have any helicopter action pictures for next month please email them to rotorheads.calendar.pictures at gmail dot com

Regards BS

I cannot seem to "get in". I am properly logged in, but when I click on to the link I get a picture of chains and a padlock saying that I'm not logged in!

Those chains & padlocks are from Dropbox (hosting the picture), not PPRuNe.

Maybe there is some sort of bandwidth/download limitation.

FYI, both links are now working.

Also, I'm not sure how much influence 'Pprune admins' have over Dropbox.

Glad it's finally working, if Dropbox isn't working I might have to think up a different hosting site for next months desktop.

Sorry again for any inconvenience this has caused, though it's nice to see people like it enough to want to download.

John has also been very kind and pointed a couple of things out I need to improve on....

Still having problems. I click onto the widescreen version as before, but when I right click the only offer I get is to download. No "set as background" option as before. Have downloaded it, but again cannot find how to se as background.

So when you right-click on the file that you've saved on your harddrive, there isn't a 'set as background' option?

How about selecting it via the Control Panel? (Or whatever Windows uses these days...)

Hmmm tigerfish you are not still on "work computers"?

Did you manage it?

Hompy any ideas what has happened to XD? After it had the little unfortunate prang off-shore did it ever get fixed?

G-INFO hasn't been updated since 2007....can't imagine CHC having it stowed away in a hangar in ABZ..

Brilliant stuff. Sadly no! and I've given up. It used to be so simple. Left click on wide screen, right click on "Set as background" & that was it! Bish Bash bosh all magnolia'd up! Done & dusted.

But now, it seems I have to have a programme my .gov system will not allow. So I have had to revert to boring microsoft backgrounds. These bloody yellow angel fish are a poor substitute. Not everyone is a computer ace.

Night Night
