Austrian Helidays 2012

Another sojourn in outside the beautiful town of Gmunden a fortnight ago, so please enjoy.

Though the Cabri G2 was being promoted quite well with several examples from Germany present with flight demonstrations

Cheers

Is anyone going to this year's edition?

I am struggling to find information about Helidays in english, Gmunden appears to be very scenic and it all seems to be good fun. Any practical information would be much appreciated.

Safe flights,

PPP

Thanks Chopper2004, just responded to your PM.

Flying a Gazelle from York to Gmunden? That sounds pretty awesome Steve!

My arrival via Salzburg with Austrian will be a bit more prosaic

There's very little information in english, for those of you english speakers who have attended previous editions, is it easy to navigate the event and meet other participants?

Ive been attending since the last five years (I live the other side -Tirol way) its pretty laid back , family friendly, good food and drink!

The flying displays are pretty good, and there is always the fly in as from my photos above,

This year expected to have Luftwaffe CH-53GA for the second time, and Heli-Austria (Knaus Heli) AS332L1

cheers
