UK or EU Registration ?
Opinions please. I'm trying to find a clear answer as to why you would register an aircraft that currently has another EU country's registration onto the UK register.
The aircraft (a Eurocopter) would be based in the UK and flown mainly in the UK with occasional flights within the EU. All by UK registered pilots.
We would want to maintain it within the UK.
With the advent of EASA does it now matter what the country of registration is ?
Thanks in advance,
Ace

it could be that the country of registration is where the engineers have their head office that look after the aircraft
or that maintenence/insurance is considerably cheaper in other countrys
which eurocopter model is it ?
or that its better /easier/cheaper / not to deal with the UK CAA
