Bell appoints new UK "independent representative"

text of the Bell press release as I have just posted online....

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced today the appointment of Heli-Charter Ltd. as its new independent representative for the United Kingdom.

“We are delighted to be working with Heli-Charter. They have a top rate facility and offer the kind of world class experience we require for our customers,” said Danny Maldonado, Bell Helicopter’s executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. “We have been expanding our presence in the UK and Heli-Charter will play an important role in helping us fulfill our mission of becoming more responsive globally.”

Bell Helicopter selected Heli-Charter for its high standard of excellent communication with customers. Heli-Charter was established more than 17 years ago and offers a variety of services in a newly refurbished facility.

“We plan to take our relationship to the next level with new and existing customers in the UK. Our goal with Heli-Charter, in combination with an outstanding product line in the Bell 429 and Bell 407GX, is to continue to increase our footprint in the UK,” stated Patrick Moulay, Bell Helicopter’s managing director for Europe. “Heli-Charter’s state-of-the-art facilities will include a Bell Helicopter show room. This will allow Bell Helicopter to pursue new opportunities in the expanding UK commercial helicopter market where demand for renewal of corporate, air ambulance and police helicopters is strong.”

Good for Heli-Charter.

Does this mean they have given up on the PZL-SW4? If I recall correctly, the showroom was constructed with this aircraft in mind, but I haven't seen any of them around.
