Offshore Vs Executive

Is it a good deal switching from the Executive world to the Offshore?

I'm 26 yrs old, I'll be making less money initially as a FO, going from cpt single turbine to FO twin turbine, 20 hrs month to about 70hrs month 15x15.

Anyone who's done it, have you ever regret it?

Step up to twins as soon as you can. It's much easier to go back to a single than the other way around if it's not for you. A few smart moves now will make it easier for you as you get older!

Thumbs up

I would agree with Sir Korsky if you can get a job offshore now when you are young which gives you time on twins and an intsrument rating it will be well worth it. I stepped up from the 206 doing most jobs to offshore co-pilot only to be able to leave offshore after 6 years getting a single pilot twin onshore job at 29.

Offshore compared to executive is simpler and more straight forward with less pressure.

Also if you can a 76 or 139 rating in the process that will be very helpful after your time offshore.

Yes go for it! I see you live in brazil. Good market you can make captain on medium twin within 2 years time all depends on previous experience.

Good luck.
