Communication towards us minions was greatly improved under John Graber. I hope that doesn't change.

I thought for a moment that it was Pete Bartolotta, an ex Bristow pilot that used to be on the S76A Flight in Aberdeen in the early eighties.

Fareast

Are you sure of the name?

I don't remember anyone of that name and I was around the S76A in Aberdeen in the early 80's.

As a defence, I state age as a valid reason for not remembering

Now I said that there is something niggling in the back of my mind that the name is familiar.

Mind you it is 30 years ago

Luke Bartolotta was a Bristow Pilot and now runs Agusta in the USA.

He bought my red MGB/GT when I left on Leave of Absence to finish my University Degree in 1979.

Malabo. To answer your question, the announcement of Graber's appointment was 2nd August 2011 - see CHC Helicopter appoints John Graber as president of CHC Helicopter Services

Definately Luke

It was Luke - I worked with him in Iran in the late seventies.

His given name is Louis .....and I might be wrong in thinking it was "Luke" as it probably was "Lou"....but the same guy we have identified from our Bristow Days.

Photo taken from an AWH PR Release......

The last time I saw him was at Heli-Tech/Duxford a few years ago when I was flying the Huey.

I suppose I must be completely unrecognisable from that period in 1981 as well.

NRDK:
Yes correct that is the topic of this thread and the attachment in the first post on this thread. See below one paragraph from the announcement.

Peter Bartolotta is joining CHC as chief operating officer and president
of the company's Helicopter Services unit. He brings with him
business-management expertise and accomplishment from executive roles
with top companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Bartolotta succeeds
John Graber, who is leaving CHC.

Such a lack of stability in top management explains a lot.

Like the turnover at Shell....Advisors running off to start their own so called "Consultancies"....and all with a hidden agenda that gilds their palms. Sound familiar SM?

Yup, he demands change in the big companies, then when it occurs, he takes the proverbial!! But there will be some righteously indignant reply no doubt!

Perhaps it's time for...

our friend SM to seek, er, how shall I say this, "help".

This continuing delusion that he/she/it has in any way every been involved with anything more than a paper airplane is becoming worrisome.

But I digress.
