I always marvel at these wonderful photos and then reflect on how totally unforgiving this environment is if the weather goes bad or the mechanicals have an off day.
Does one always have a plan B and a Plan C?

G'day Etudiant....thank You Sir. Unforgiving, that it is; any & all flying is, with a sprinkling of extra added masala when up in the mountains As for an plan B/C/D, sometimes yes, but some extreme missions.....afraid not

Thank you for sharing your so impressively beautiful pictures Vertical Freedom, I'm sure I'm not the only one that you make feel jealous!

Again, did you ever think to compile them and publish a book?

FWIW: on publishing a photo book there are several options you could pursue that are rather easy. Some options offer marketing links to sell them through Amazon or other book venues. I've done several books through my Flickr Pro account that ended with great results. Google "create photo book" for a list of providers from small to large like Shutterfly, Snapfish, Mixbook, Blurb, etc. With your volume of pics I would say a series of books would be excellent path to take....

Hi VF, I hope you are well, are you undertaking any covid 19 flights in your area, or are you you sufficiently insulated from the general populace?

Like many others I am missing your input and lovely photos.

Keep safe

Another who misses his scenic tour of places I'll never get to see, it's great we get to appreciate his world. Hope all is OK and he is still flying.

I certainly hope he is OK. His great pictures just stopped suggesting something dramatic happened?

Over eighteen months since we heard last from him.

He ran afoul of the mods/admins over some of the content he was posting, and he decided to walk away rather than battle them. Thats how it went down. Not too dramatic.
