Ok, fair enough. I have never had to operate in that white stuff, but some times in bull dust, which leads to an immediate "brown out" on lift off. So, do you have that problem with the snow, or is the stuff not powdery?

Get outa here!!

G'day Old Farang......we get brown-outs - big time white-outs from powdered snow also happens, but depends on the condition of the snow (fresh powder or slushy or crusty) Brown-outs are easier to manage cause You can usually peg Your eyeballs to a rock through the chin bubble for a reference powdered snow is more tricky; throw out a backpack on a flypast to help avoid flat-line effect & drive the toes in before You loose visual, need some head wind to keep ahead of the fluff anyways no-fun

Hi VF,

Couple of questions if you don't mind. What is that pyramid like structure in 4354 ? How long have you got left out there ? You posted previously that you were leaving for Oz.

Neo, I think thats the Italian Pyramid used by scientist to study the climate, human physiology and the environment.

See some more info here: The story of the Pyramid | Ev-K2-CNR

I'm sure VF will put me right if I got it wrong.
