The mountains are spectacular, but your best pics are the ones that show the people of the region.

Always appreciate this thread VF - best on the internet IMHO. You go to Nepal for the mountains, you return because of the people.

Hey VF. I am currently flying a little old B412 in Malta doing EMS. Our biggest hill (bump really) is only 800 feet high and we have no rivers on the island. However, our scenery is beautiful and inspired by your thread I am thinking of start one titled "Bottom of the World" Our Maltese girls are certainly able to give your Nepalese girls a run for their money. We don't have many dogs but a sh*t load of cats! We have no snow but some dust. The beer is good too. The local speciality food is "Rabbit" cooked in red wine. What do yah think! Should I go for it? After about 12K hrs droning out over the ocean taking the oil bears to work and back a little flying on a small island doing good work for the people of Malta is just the tonic. My motorbike is bigger than yours though!

Excellent thread as always VF, keep up the good work (big fan of Everest Rescue right now, also).

Go for it please! As someone with ties to Malta, I'd be very keen to see your pics, DB.
