India/Bangladesh-Corporate pilot

Hi, does anybody have an idea what the expected salary can be for a B206L or B407 corporate pilot in India and Bangladesh?
In negiotiations at present, but not sure what salary range to expect or ask for!!

Any advice wrt flying in the sub-continent will also be appreciated.

If you are competing with national pilots (which of course you are) you will be lucky to find anything much north of 2mil Rupees per year.

Yes. Make sure you fly with plenty of Imodium tablets on board.

R&R Aviation - Bangladesh

Somebody knows anything about R&R Aviation in Bangladesh? Salary, life conditions, payment on time? Are they serious people?

Thank you

Probably no less than the equivalent of $5,000 - $5,500 USD and that may be on the low side.

Not bad, I would like to receive a salary like that. I'm afraid we are talking about half of that money.

Had an offer in Dhaka for single engine vfr, $5500 after tax for the first three months, $6500 for the remaining 9 months, plus housing, car, loss of licence, medical.
Turned it down.
The rosters in India/Bangla suck, though. Full time with 30 days vacation per year.

Edit: There is a pilot here, forgot his nick, who flies a 222 or 230 in Dhaka. Try the search function.

Many thanks to Savoia and Goodgrief! Very useful information

Another Bangladeshi company offered me $2000 per month, for a charter/EMS job on R66. Full time, 2 weeks vacation per year. Not bad

What was your previous job then

Mmmm: £18,000 GBP taxable per year with 50 weeks on and 2 weeks off....

You must be so ****ing desperate for work KA26. Not only does the pay suck, the T's and C's do too, and the food, and the climate, and the maintenance and the social life and the fleas in your bed and the............

I love the other post about LOL and health care.......in India.
