Lovely old birds. Most of the aircraft in my logbook are parked outside RSL clubs with a stick up their @rse now, or are in the War Museum in Canberra.

As a rookie in rotary flight, I've never even sat in one, much less been able to fly one. I know many here flew them in unpleasant circumstances, but I'm still envious.

Thanks for the memories!

I am not sure that it would have been quite the same, or the memories quite so fond, without 'the unpleasant circumstances'!
