Ok, just bragging... and my day wil come...

So after, well waay too long ol' '78 flew again.

That would be a 500 with a fresh engine and annual.

Blue dot on the torque not even close on the TOT.

4 Bladed T/R to .03ips in 4 runs (didn't even have to remove the T-tail this year!)

One run to confirm the M/R and it's even better than last year! .007ips (yep that's not a misprint) at 120kts baby!!!

Under 60 kts smooth as butta!!

Now just enjoying the night with the dog and a little Jose gold.

Life doesn't always go well but then again sometimes life just smiles on you.

Not my day job anymore but I miss it sometimes.

Cheers to all those I've left behind.

Tonight I'll hoist a drink in your honor.

Stay thirst my friends!

Now as to the rear door...

I hate to burst bubbles but you're forgetting one of Murphy's Laws of Helicopters - If everything seems to be going well, you're obviously overlooking something.

Are you sure your balance gear isn't broken? ;-)

Devil

Yeh, if it's that smooth, something must be wrong. It's probably just lulling you into a false sense of serviceability.

Typical of a bunch of Helicopter Pilots....all negative and pessimistic!

I found my Attitude Meter has gone "positive" at a higher rate ever since I retired.....now when things are going "good"....I think that being as it should be and not a great big ol' Warning Sign done in Red with flashing Strobe Lights.

However....Constant vigilance is not Paranoia. Particularly in helicopters!
