Helicopter pilot Oslo Police

Hi Gents

I am in a few days participating in the selection process at Rygge Airport for the two open pilot positions at Oslo Police Helicopter unit at Gardermoen.

Any one who would kindly share what to expect?
Written tests?
Helisim or fixed wing sim?
How is it to fly for Oslo Police?
Salary to be expected/working days pr. year?
24 hour rosters or 12, or?

Best regards
Thorbjoern

Thorbjoern, nice to see a Norwegian on Rotorheads, welcome!

Given the size of Oslo's Police Air Unit I would think it unlikely that there would be many in a position to respond to your query. For now I would simply say .. do your best and, with that, to wish you good luck.

Presumably in the advert they gave some indication of their requirements and, if you meet those, then you are off to a good start.

More about this operation in post 40 of the Nordic News thread.
