Shoreham Incident

Anyone know what happened at Shoreham a few days ago? Think it may have been last Friday.

I took an EC120 into Shoreham 10am Friday and left around 1pm - not aware of anything in that period. From 9:30 - 10:00 and from 13:00 - 15:00 I was on Farn East LARS, Shoreham Approach, Heathrow Special or Redhill Tower frequencies and heard nothing unusual.

I did hear a PAN call on Farn East LARS when I was over North Kent on Saturday, approximately 11:40z. That was from a twin fixed wing with one engine out. He was instructed to go 7700. He asked for a direct to Shoreham and (from what I heard) he got a very good service from a very calm and professional controller. I reached my private site destination 11:30 when the PAN aircraft had 27 miles to run so I did not hear the end of that one.
