R44 down in northern Norway

R44 down in Norway, 2 persons onboard. Happened during collection of reindeers. Supposed to be bad weather in the area, heavy snow.

Hope they are ok, but it looks bad

Helicopter located and both occupants confirmed dead according to news reports.

What a crappy few weeks we've had - every year seems to start and end with a run of tragedies.

Condolences to the families involved.

Confirmed on the Aviation Safety Website as two fatalities. Very sad.
