FAR Part 135 HEMS requirements

Hello all,

My question has to do with crew quarters. Someone said that according to the rules the crewmembers are required to have separate sleeping quarters. Is it also true that they are required to have bathroom facilities that are not shared with the hospital patients?

If you know, and can cite the FAR #, that would be a huge help.

Thanks!

True, 135 says nothing about quarters. Companies don't have to provide quarters at all.

Contract Issue

FAR 135 only addresses pilot rest requirements. Crew quarters may be addressed contractually between the aircraft operator and the hospital.
