PC2 DLE

Eurocopter has lately issued a guide named PC2 DLE for EC225.
Among some new acronism, one is VLSS, minimum groundspeed 40ft above the helideck on which a drop down is possible.
Does anybody know where this 40feet figure come from ?
Thank you.

Well, it is the parameter that - with VLSS - defines the DPBL for this procedure (see page 17 of the supplement.) How it is derived could be either through flight testing or computational - I don't know in this instance.
