Pay question

After many years working in Canada, I have been approached about a (non-flying) job in the UK. I have no idea what the market is like there, and it seems the cost of living just keeps going up! I would like to know what a 40 something training pilot/base manager would earn on the North Sea. Been away such a long time, I am totally out of touch with this.

Many thanks all!

Assuming that he would also be a North Sea Commander with a few years seniority then it is likely to be close to six figures depending on who he's working for.

Why come back? Your way of life and cost of living will be far better than anything you could achieve in Canada. Also the weather here sucks! Stick to four seasons - unless of course you are in Winnipeg!
