Be cautious of security, if you are overnighting at an ad-hoc site. Sucking eggs I know, but you could regret not paying the taxi fare from Elstree or Denham.

Steve - definitely wouldn't use a rugby club, especially since my machine was broken into and ransacked at one in broad daylight...

Elstree is pretty much right next to Watford as well, depending on which bit of Watford you want to be in. Plaistow's Farm (microlight field) isn't terribly far either.

If you need a ride from Denham or Elstree, I may be able to help out, as I live locally; drop me a PM or something. I'd offer a spare room, but you'd have to share it with ferrets.

Oh yes, our ferrets are pampered and spoiled house pets. They wouldn't know what to do with a live bunny if they were presented with one. They are, however, utterly capable of ransacking your handbag while you're not looking, and nicking (and hiding) the smallest valuables, usually somewhere inaccessible.

There are plenty of local taxi firms, and Elstree isn't far from central Watford. If you have a free evening, look me up and I'll stand you a pint.

That about 206 Jock's idea of the Grove - The Grove | Luxury Golf & Spa Resort Hertfordshire England UK - looks perfectly positioned for Rickmansworth/Watford right by M25 J19. MAP
