MD 902 Crash Germany May 10th 2011

A German Police 902 crashed yesterday evening in the Pforzheim area during a search mission for an old women. All three on board suffered severe injuries.

German media says the three occupants are hospitalised in "no longer life-threatening" condition. Accident cause is unknown for the moment. The person they were searching for has been found in good health, close to the scene of the accident. BFU and state prosecutor have started an investigation...

Edit: Photo of the accident site shows the chopper on its side next to some tall trees, the cabin looks almost intact and everything else a mess. Good on MD if that's what it was designed to look like under the circumstances.
