CHC advert for a winchman in Sumburgh

Hi guys,

Just saw an ad on CHC's website for a winchman in Sumburgh.

It says in the advert they will provide the training.

I'm assuming that doesn't mean they will train someone from new or does it?

Thank you.

From further information on the website I would say not.

Quoted From the Job Description
Responsibilities: Play a key role in CHC’s ability to set the standard for safety, helping to maintain our position as world leader.
Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 3 months recent experience of SAR winch operations and preference will be given to those who hold a current paramedic status.
Training will be given for the successful applicants.
This position will be based in Sumburgh.

So I would say you need these as a start. The training is probably equipment and procedural based.

Hope this helps.
