I think we are on the same wavelength!
So do I Part of the problem is the perception by the General Public that unless the helicopter is parked in their garden it is too far away so one is needed for each Health Authority The Gen P is almost completely ignorant of the great facilities which are actually available. Then there is the problem of Medical or Nursing staff seeing a specially dedicated helicopter as some sort of status symbol or sign that they provide the best possible care which is not necessarily true, but it looks good. Maybe one day people will wake up to the fact that looking good does not necessarily equal being good. I live in hope. In the meantime carry on SAR, you ARE the best.
