Oh no! I thought i saw it on a diary of events whilst looking for info on it yesterday but it's not on the museum site. That's a real shame, was going to take my son.

Maybe it'll start up again in a few years...

If it were running this year, I would have expected it to be on this page, but it isn't. You may want to email the museum to get final confirmation?

Future of Weston event hangs in the balance - News - Weston Mercury

THE future of Weston’s International HeliDays will hang in the balance over the next couple of months while organisers decide if they can afford to run it.

A final decision on whether to run it will be taken in April or May.

Any pictures yet?

The commitment of the staff last year was extraordinary, we had a great time.
Unfortunately this year all events outside of GER were cancelled.

Says PPL (H) to Czech "Hind" pilot,

" I was walking past and saw the door open and must have pushed the "Start Engine" switch as I climbed in, sorry!

Thanks Hiller Man for making the effort...your aircraft is a real gem.
It was a great weekend ,despite the resticted space and the museum has already committed to repeating it next year, hopefully with more landing and static park area available.Even the traditional Saturday night BBQ went off with no rain showers. The mix of Czech lager,French wine and cheese ,and British beer and burgers went down a treat !
