New Tactics by Police Helicopters

Georgia Police Air units are now being tasked to handle problem speeders under a new tactic recently inplemented by a County Air Unit. They are now responding to trouble spots identified by local citizens. Speeders are warned of Aerial Patrols in these selected areas where only secondary roads exist. Previously, Air Patrol was limited to Interstate (think Motorways or Autobahns).

It is believed the new tactic may be very effective in gaining compliance as penalties have been enhanced with view towards preventing repeat offenses by the motorists apprehended by the new program.

There has been some local complaints about the program as to the effectiveness as it is not a very widespread or highly visible operation.

Works better at night when you just use a visible laser or night sun. Saves ammo for the really tough ones!

Works well..
Stops those who are speeding in there tracks, makes it unlikely for others to what to speed as well.
