Villeneuve flooded, now an island.

In 2011, when our Villeneuve, (near Kilcoy) was an island from the floods, there were helicopter emergency drop offs, food, medication etc. Who do I contact to see if we can again get some help?

2022

I actually live just outside kilcoy and it’s been raining now almost a solid 48hrs. I can’t get out to even get to work to help with the relief effort (frustrating). Since yesterday morning I haven’t been able to even get into town let alone through and beyond.

An aid drop was done this afternoon and I expect there will be others but we are all hoping that the rain stops and the water level drops soon. There are some great people in town helping out all of those stranded and they are to be applauded.

Stay safe everyone

really pointless to diss another helicopter for the one you root for. P29 compliance worth more than a few hundred K more and some paperwork.
