J J Helicopters, Torrance, CA - Any experiences?

Afternoon All,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of J J Helicopters of Torrance, CA?

Considering going flying with them later this month.

Many thanks in advance.

I've flown their R44 a couple of times and thought they were Fine. I think the instructor I flew with has since moved on to another company and when I first visited enquiring about a flight, there was a different instructor again, who I think has since moved on, so they appear to have a fairly high turnover of instructors. Saying that, I do not know what the usual turnover rate of instructors is in the States.

They were the cheapest operator I could find in the LA area, and of course it was an awful lot cheaper than the UK. The helicopter looked well maintained to me, and of course they are right next to the Robinson factory so I guess you would hope so.

PS Incidentally, the instructor I flew with was the best looking young lady I've ever had the pleasure to fly with - but sadly as I say, she is not there anymore.

I used their R44 as well. JJ Helicopters is owned by a nice Japanese couple. The wife was the chief flight instructor when I was there last time in 2008 or so, she probably she still is.
