305 hp Textron Lycoming VO-540-A 1 A air-cooled, horizontally-opposed six-cylinder piston engine, main rotor diameter: 10.82 m, length: 8.53 m, height: 2.97 m, take-off weight: 1225 kg, empty weight: 824 kg, maximum speed: 153 km/h, cruising speed: 132 km/h, service ceiling: 4,025 m, range: 330 km.
- Infamously flown by “Pussy Galore” in the 1964 film Goldfinger
- A well-known fixture on the European and UK air show circuits
- Currently airworthy and in good operating condition
- Flight instruction and/or operating services available from vendor

I think the point is the history of the helicopter and the fact it was in a James Bond film amongst others (hence the asking price).
Lets face it - the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger (same film) went for a cool £2.6Million so you could argue that was crazy too (why not just buy Bugatti Veyron etc etc).

And why "imfamously" flown? I know it was a seriously crap movie, but condemning it to imfamy is a bit harsh - it was only a prop after all.
What an utterly ludicrous price to expect for an ancient Hiller!
