206 B-II main rotor blades

Yikes, we're getting close to expiration on the first set of blades on a 1975 206 B-II. Long wait for new ones and the market looks drained. Anyone here that has an extra set with some time left on them?

/p

What part no? I'm sure you used to be able to mix -033 and -133 blades and can almost certainly fit -133 ('BIII') blades to a BII.

My old Jetbox had one of each.

Of course, there's always the question of whether your BII is a Bell or an Agusta Bell machine...how different set of issues there.

Blades...

All Bell, and since they've been on from 1975, it should be -033. Do you have a set in the garage?

Sadly, none in the garage, but I do have a tailboom!

If RB's contacts don't come up good, try Aeroads, helicopterparts etc. Try posting a wanted ad on these too, if you haven't already.

Nice to know your set made 35 years

perfrej,

I always kept 'old' sets of blades with hours left when I installed new blades, and stored them just in case. You may find a few operators in Australia with spare sets, but whether they would part with them is another issue

Blades

John,

That is the problem. With Bell running a 24 month delivery time used blades get hot...

Try here: For Sale - Bell

They are really good at finding parts.

By the way, what does a new pair cost?

Jeesh! I paid $60,457 for a pair in June '07, when the list price was $34,347 ea.

That's inflation for you.

I have been running around the internet looking for the same thing and found this post, any chance someone still has a set in the garage? Don't need big hours to run but do need a couple hundred.
Thank you for any help

Is there a year/life limit on them like Robinson?

Thanks but the blades at apple were sold a little while ago. They seem to go as fast as they come up.
