Helicopter Training Blackpool

Does anyone know of a good helicopter FTO in Blackpool? All seems to be a bit quiet up there recently.

It got "disleyed", ended up with breasts pointing at sky. Believe now being run from next door hangar by former FI.

Devil Training BPL

Fly Blackpool in the next hangar to the old Helicentre, R44/R22 training carried out on own helicopters not borrowed in from private owners.

7 days a week with very competitive prices, 2 full time AFI 1 CFI.

Training at Blackpool

The Helicentre used to be the only FTO on the airfield but was run into the ground by Disley. The others have always been registered training facilities.
Some of the old staff from the Helicentre are still on the airfield and still working.

There are now 4 companies providing heli training on the airfield, from west to east:
FlyBpl - in Emerald's old hangar next to the Helicentre - Registered Facility
Heliblackpool - based at Hangar 3 - Registered Facility or may be an FTO/TRTO by now
Helivation - also in Hangar 3 and mainly examiner services, LPC reval. TRE etc.
Heli2000 - Part of Brian Seedle helicopters and also a Registered Facility.
None of these organisations have anything to do with the current Helicentre, Disley Aviation or Ventbrook and all 3 of these seem to have left the airfield.

Here's the subjective part and just from recent observations:

Heliblackpool seems to be the largest school with the most machines, most staff, best facilities etc but FlyBpl can't be far behind.

Good luck and be careful who you put down any money onto an account with!
