Greetings All.

Hi, I am 28 years old, and just today decided what the next step in my life is going to be. I am going to fly Helicopters, no matter what it takes. Therefore I am diving into the world of the sky-travelers determined to be a part of that world, hoping soon I may be accepted into a new brotherhood. It would be nice to make a friend that I can relate with along this journey.

It will be a hard road to travel but no matter what you encounter along the way, be true to your dream lest you regret not doing so later on. To try and fail is just but to never try is damn crininal and something you will regret for the rest of your life.

Thank you all for the positivity. I found out today how much it is going to cost, my next step is speaking with a instructor, and finding financing.

If you are 28, try talking to a military recruiter. The cost is the same, but it is not money, it is time given in service to your country. In return you get an excellent education in helicopter flying and many other good lessons in life. It is not for all but well worth looking into. If you do not have a college degree, your only option is the Army. If you have a degree you can speak with the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines or the Coast Guard. Depending on where you are in TX, you can even go talk to the National Guard or Reserves recruiters.
