Massive Machines

Caught the end of an interesting Helicopter documentary on Quest Channel. The title of the program was Massive Machines and they looked at the Mi 26 in some detail, what a beast! It is going to be repeated next Saturday if anyone is interested http://www.questtv.co.uk/TV_Listings/21/08/201.

I'm guessing the bit in H269 was filmed at Liverpool? Can anyone confirm that?

Tonight at 9pm on Quest (freeview):

Heart Of The Machine

Helicoptors

Rossi's on a mission to find out how helicopters are built and how they function. Then he meets stuntman Chuck to see him flying them the wrong way - upside down.

The same - very genuine chap. Not only knowledgeable but extremely helpful to boot. A true helo enthusiast, although unable to post regularly on Rotorheads these days.
