First helicopter at FALE on the 1st of May!

We were the first helicopter into FALE, King Shaka Airport in Durban today on the official first day of operation.

We flew ZS-RNX, a Robinson R44 RavenII in at 07:30 local time and landed at Delta 4 apron.

Amazing to be the first there at a completely new airport. we went through to the main terminal to have coffee. usual nonsense getting back through terminal as a private pilot.

Impressive terminal, but smaller than expected.

Pilot Kevin Graham SA PPL(H), Hylton Spencer SA CPL(H), Jaco Bester SA CPL(H)
