Surely a Polis helicopter must be for Glasgow, especially with the registration Se Him, see you.

Joel. if you have friends at the Polis then I am interested to obtain information and pictures of the Swedish Police Air Wing.

JAFO - You will have to explain these comments because they are difficult to understand for a Swede.

Sorry for the thread creep but you are being quoted some Glasgow/Scottish Patter/Slang from viewers of the world's longest continually running police drama 'Taggart' which is set in Glasgow - Taggart - Wikipedia in Swedish Taggart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in English

The Police are commonly called Polis, or alternative spelling Pollis, in Scotland, not just Glasgow.

See You can be used in several ways, but again is probably being used here as the rather hostile introduction to a personal insult.
