What type of aircraft do they charter for the Buzzard platform?

225?

I believe they currently use a CHC 332L (Mk1 Super Puma)

The previous poster is correct in that Scotia do not have L1's but L's, however if the original poster is inquiring about the straps in the cargo bay I'm sure he's not too interested in the esoteric differences of the two marques

To answer his question regarding the straps - yes. Sorry

Can anyone advise how to open and close these straps?

I'm only used to working 225's where they are just nice and easy like a lap belt.
