Billionaire Jew Moises Saba from Mexico in helicopter crash
5Towns Jewish Times Monday, January 11, 2010

According to a Reuter's report three members of the Saba family were among five people killed in a helicopter crash in Mexico City. The Saba family, one of the wealthiest Jewish families in Mexico controls numerous businesses ranging from telecoms to pharmaceuticals. The private helicopter crashed in cold and foggy weather in the capital, Mexico City.

It was not immediately clear which members of the Saba family were on board.

"The pilot should not have flown under such foggy, dangerous conditions," remarked one observer.

Saba was in negotiations in the past to purchase a share in a television station in Israel, but the purchase was ultimately not made.

According to the Talmud and Jewish law, burial must be done as soon as possible. In a situation where it can be avoided and there is no danger to other life, autopsies should also be avoided as much as possible.
