Wes Lematta of Columbia Helicopters Passes Away Today

Heard from friends at Columbia Helicopters that founder Wes Lematta passed away today.

Its the end of an era with his passing. He introduced the heavy lift helicopter to the world and its his legacy to the industry.

To all his family, friends and workers at Columbia Helicopters our thoughts are with you. He will be missed and created a truly special company in Columbia Helicopters.

Rest in Peace and Godspeed Wes.

Ned
