UK AAIB Reports Dec 2009

Only one new one this month, one gyroplane report and an addendum to the G-TTHC report from October 2009.

R22 G-INKY 27 May 2009
Helicopter was caught by a gust of wind from the right on take off and main rotor hit the ground, subsequently landed upright on its skids.

Addendum to the G-TTHC report
To reword a paragraph that wrongly describes where the needle on the Carb air Temperature gauge should be kept during normal ops.

Suffered a loss of engine power and nose wheel broke during forced landing, aircraft then rolled over.
