Gazelles anyone?

Disposal Services Authority

The alternative offer idea is interesting: cheaper upfront but MoD wants a slice of the pie later.

Gazelles

Only two of these in my log book - XZ314 and XZ324.
Did my second conversion flight in 314 in April 1979! Flew 324 many times from July 1979 to July 1981 as it was one of the resident cabs in Omagh. Had my first real emergency in 324 - freewheel failure in September 1980, overhead XMG. Interesting morning!

I thought MoD wasn't going to sell off these aircraft due to the higher stress levels etc that the Army put them through.
Apart from spares recovery I wouldn't touch them.
