Helicopter Training and Hire, Ards

Hi All

Does anybody have any Info as to what is happening with Helicopter Training and Hire at Newtownards in Northern Ireland.

Just seen there website where it mentioned a CVA

helicoptercentre.co.uk

Does this mean they have gone bust....
and if so does it mean any vouchers from them will not be honoured??

Thanks All.

It looks pretty clear on the webpage to me... Like I said back in March when key staff were sacked after a meeting with the new owner it was only a matter of time before operations ceased permanently.

Shame really, cos the previous CP/MD seemed to be doing his best with the company before the current MD took over. I feel sorry for all the unsuspecting punters who have been ripped off yet again after buying gift vouchers. Their best bet of actually getting to fly is to visit the new company on the other side of the airfield.

FT

HTH

Why were the staff sacked?

Who is the new MD. Was RB not the new owner of the operation after PH.

DH took over from RB, who stayed on as CP. DH allegedly has a bit of a reputation for random sackings... Issuing P45s to his AOC postholders just at the start of the flying season certainly was an unusual tactical decision..

HTH

Its certainly an interesting way to start a helicopter venture....by removing the pilots and postholders
