Useful page on the Met Office website
Met Office : Invent - Weather: Map view
I think this looks promising, it allows you to overlay current and forecast data on a Google map of the UK / Northern Europe.
Great as a training aid, and possibly useful as a forecast tool if the model is any good, I suppose only time will tell.
Its got higher res rainfall radar than the metoffice normally produce and the cloud overlays seem quite good.

The sea level pressure chart seems to have disappeared today.
They do say in the text that its under development, so I suppose if you like it you need to send them comments about what you find useful.
