PPLH Syllabus

Can anybody recall when the 5 Hrs Instrument appreciation became part of the CAA or JAR PPLH syllabus?

Just after that, I think. I got my PPL(H) in May 2000 and it was one of the last CAA licences, before JAR took over and the 5hrs instrument was brought in.
