Cool Rotorheads calendar August 2009

We are lucky enough this month to have a photo from Ned Dawson, one of the best aviation photographers today. He took the photo of a 71st SOS USAF CV-22 north of Albuquerque, New Mexico mid July 2009.

As always, for Windows users click on the thumbnail to open a higher resolution full picture, and then right click to select “Set as Background”. Mac users should select the background via System Preferences.

Pug ugly & over complicated

Take no notice John, just the bleatings of an old luddite. If it can hover it qualifies for the brotherhood right? For what it's worth I'm happy to accept other variants on a theme, quite happy with the concept of that X2 for instance.

no prejudices here

I think John is just being politically correct. You know like the adverts for posh private schools in predominantly rich, white suburbs where they lean over backwards to have a black kid in the pics.

Unless I've missed something, this Forum is called Rotorheads, and includes threads on helicopters, autogyros and tilt rotors

Thanks for the photo, Ned: great calendar shot
