Identification required please...
Could someone tell me what type of helicopter this is please? I know nothing about these things! For info it was taken in the far north of Scotland on 30th December last year. I was stood on the summit of Cranstackie (just south of Durness) and the aircraft was flying west to east, maybe from the Western Isles (just a wild guess). Thanks, Vince

True, even I could recognise it Perhaps the challenge is to get the reg, and knowing the date, say who the pilots were

...and the Captain also had a bacon butty for breakfast, followed by a doughnut washed down with 6 cups of tea (NATO standard).

Nah, Americans can't make tea it'd be a double de-caf macchiato latte with chocolate to go if they was 'Merican
Anyway, the bacon butties and doughnuts (note, not donuts) probably explains the slight list to starboard.

Blimey, I thought this thread would be dead and buried after my second post..
Tail-take-off... No problem about the posting - thanks for the compliment.
If you want to see the where I took the photo, click here... Digital Camera pictures - Cranstackie and Beinn Spionnaidh, Sutherland, Scotland
you want what??... Like I said, I know nothing about these things! I'm mere SLF and never been in a 'copter in my life. Okay, a challenge then, what's this one (in the Murchison Mountains, New Zealand)....
