Edit: Possibly the Czech-made Aero HC-2? (after the Eastern European hint from Evil Twin)

I was going to say Hiller then I thought Dijin and now I'm thinking Mil 2 seat trainer. Looking at the writing on the tail rotor drive shaft tube I'd say eastern european.

Sycamore: looks like you're dead on... HC 102 Heli Baby helicopter. Looks like the same hangar/museum that the OP's image is from.

Yes, it is the Czechoslovakian built Moravan/Aero HC-102 Helibaby. More powerful than the HC-2 it replaced. Built in 1961, the HC-102 is powered by the Avia M-110H 117-hp 4-cylinder engine. Laminate covered wood rotors. 21 were built. The military designation is VR-2.

Early Hillers had the over head cyclic setup as well.

Precipitation

Just wondering if more rain would come in through the cyclic hole in the canopy than around the door seals of an R22?
