ada grounded

Just had an email from a friend stating that ADA fleet is grounded, except for 3 139s.
Anyone have any update on this?

Thanks

Abu Dhabi Aviation's 212/412s have been grounded by the GCAA since Thursday night for regulatory non-compliance (CVR/FDR, etc.) and only the AW-139s have been being used offshore. Since Friday only three of the 139s have been operational on the job until today when one 'broke' and they are now down to two 139s to cover the jobs with not enough engineers to fix the AOG a/c. The GCAA gave them 6 months to come into compliance, and there was apparently zero forward movement during that time.

There's another thread about this.
