Helitech on 22-24 September 2009 at Duxford
Helitech is the international helicopter expo for the rotary industry
Is pretty much the only helicopter only show in the UK.

Obviously there's the annual Heli-Expo in the USA this year but are there any shows biased towards helicopters in the UK?

Well whether a pilot or not I always like to see someone wearing a nice watch.......oh and nice shoes too.....don't ask!!!!!
I'll rephrase my first post here
Pretty much the only helicopter trade kind of show where you can buy stuff that you usually can't take away [Its not full of stalls with stock on].
Helidays is a fly in that happens on the Seafront at WSM and sees lots of helicopters from UK and Europe appear for a couple of days as static exhibits, no helicopter specific stands that I recall (its been a few years).
hell seems to be the helidays site itself.
The Helicopter Museum, the World's Largest Dedicated Helicopter Museum. is a link the helidays page on the helicopter museum website.
Gallery for 2008 Helidays is the 2008 gallery on the Helicopter Museum Friends website.

heli1 is correct dates for this years Helidays at Weston are Friday 24th July to Sunday 27th July.
Organised over a weekend so that pilots from all parts of the UK can flyin, we have had civil crews from Scotland.
So do not let the location put all you Northern pilots off from visiting a great international helicopter get together.

I for one will make sure i get over for the helidays this year, couldn't make it last year.
So who is flying their own machines in this year?
Regarding someone with a PPL/H flying in, is it only allowed if you own the aircraft and have your own insurance?
Cheers
Dave
