Hour Building in the States

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this has been covered in a previous thread, either I cant work the search function or it hasn't!!!!

I'm just wondering whats involved with building some hours in the States. How does it work? I take it you will be brought for a check ride prior to being given the go ahead to fly yourself?

Also, what is it like to fly in the States? i.e. ATC, Filling flight plans etc etc I presume whichever school you pick will give you a run down on these issues.....

With regards a visa, whats the setup and how does one go about applying?

Also, can anyone recommend schools they might have used??

Cheers lads.....
